How To Root Motorola Milestone 3 Xt860 [Tutorial]

Precautions to be taken care before you start operating the rooting methods.

Backup the phone's data and make sure that you have at least 80% battery charge.

Enable the USB Debugging (Settings > Applications > Development).

Steps

1. Download the Super-Root.apk for Motorola Milestone 3 Xt860 from the link given below.

2. First connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.

3. Copy the Super-Root.apk to your SD card, and once copied disconnect yor device from your PC.

4. Now go to Menu>>Settings>>Security on your device and enable the Unknown sources option.

5. Open the file manager and open the app that was copied earlier to your device.

6. Once installed, open the app from the app drawer.

7. Now select the install SuperSU from the fist drop down menu and select the exploit, tap on it in the app.

8. This will help you in rooting your device and this wont take much time to finish.

9. Finally reboot your device one its been rooted.

10. That's all, you are done rooting your device.
