How To Root Motorola Milestone XT720 Running Android 2.2.1 FroYo With SuperOneClick

In this article we are gonna explain you how to root your Motorola Milestone XT720 as it supports the Android versions upto 2.2 FroYo, So here we are gonna-be using the SuperOneClick to root your device.

Steps

1. If you have the Motorola drivers already installed in your computer, then skip this and proceed to step (2) else download your Motorola Windows Driver Here


2. Download the SuperOneClick here are unzip it to any location in your computer.


3. Now enable USB debugging on your phone from Menu > Settings > Applications > Development and connect it to your computer via USB.

4. When you are promoted to setup the USB Mode, slect the 'Portal & Tools' called 'PC Mode', and make sure you don't mount the USB Card.

5. Now open the SuperOneClick from where you extracted and click the 'Root'.

6. Wait for the whole process to get completed and then you are done.
