How To Change An App Icon Which You Dislike

Some of us might have came across this situation where you really love an app, and you frequently use it , but you hate the app icon. Now you need not hide those apps in the folder so that you need not look at them everytime you take the phone. Here comes another way - you can change that app icon using the app Awesome icons.

       Get Awesome Icons

This is a simple app, and just like a shortcut creator. So all you need is to select an app, an icon and a label. The Awesome Icons will then create a shortcut of the app with the new icon in your home screen. You can move this new shortcut to folders or docks or keep as it is in the home screen.

You will see a list of installed apps when you open the app. There will be a list of new icons displayed next to the apps and you can choose any of these icon for your app. You can also change the label name of your app if you wish. When you select any icon, you will be taken to the shortcut creation screen. Tap OK.

Awesome Icons also provides option to dim the rest of the screen except the screen. If you want to choose from other than the icons displayed, press + to open a blank shortcut. Remember that using these app, you wont be able to change the icon in the app drawer. All you can do is to create shortcuts in the home screen with icons of your choice.
